Man Shot In Western Mass, Police Searching For Shooter

A man was injured Thursday night in Springfield, and police are on the hunt for the shooter.

Police responded to the 900 block of Worthington Street after receiving a Shotspotter activation and found a man on the ground with a bullet wound, Springfield authorities said. Responders rushed him to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Springfield detectives are investigating the shooting.
